The spanish ambassador remarked that Anne had the courage of a lion. He overheard her  tell another lady in waiting that she would rather see the Queen hang and would not acknowledge her as her mistress.

Anne made enemies with the court and with Henry's power and her boldness they ruled the court together.

Anne was accused of being a gold digger, a witch and a heretic and she was thrilled when Henry created the church of England and granted himself a divorce.

The spanish embassador commented that Anne was estatic when she heard the news. After 22 years of marriage Henry did not say good bye to Catherine.

During the meeting with the French embassador Anne was his official consort and named her the Marquis of Pembroke.
